![]() NewsAnimal Abodes Abide at Morton ArboretumOn May 22, the Morton Arboretum will open “Animal Houses,” an outdoor exhibition in which 11 oversized animal homes, including “a 30-foot-tall raccoon den visitors can walk inside,” will appear in the arboretum’s prairies and woods. One featured exhibit: a giant pond created by Chicago Wilderness’ own mapmaker, Lynda Wallis, which will allow visitors to walk amongst swaying puzzleweed and more than 100 hand-sewn pollywogs.
