They're
not vegetarians. Most people seem to love lions and
cheetahs and coyotes in concept. But we're
not all that comfortable with the fact that they tear
apart other animals for dinner. Yet we can't truly
care for nature, without appreciating natural processes.
Carnivores, scavengers, and decomposers are all part
of the beauty of nature if we have the wisdom
to perceive it.
